We are proud to announce that the 2026 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results are the best in the history of Heidelberg International School.
All of our Diploma Programme candidates have been awarded the IB Diploma, compared to the IB global pass rate of 82.61%. This is an exceptional achievement that reflects their dedication, resilience, and hard work over the past two years.
We are especially proud to share that:
• One student achieved an outstanding 44 out of 45 points, placing them among the highest-performing IB students in the world.
• Nine of our twelve students achieved scores of 39 points or above, a remarkable accomplishment that highlights the strength and depth of this year’s cohort. A score of 38 or more points is typically required to be a competitive applicant for many of the world’s leading universities, while 40 or more points is achieved by fewer than 10% of IB Diploma candidates globally.
• Two-thirds of our students earned the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, demonstrating academic excellence in two languages. Globally, approximately 25% of IB Diploma candidates receive this distinction.
These exceptional results are a testament not only to our students’ commitment and perseverance, but also to the expertise, dedication, and unwavering support of our teachers, together with the outstanding leadership of our IB Diploma Programme Coordinator. Collectively, they have created a learning environment in which students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve at the highest level.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing you take the next steps toward exciting futures at leading universities around the world.
