As part of our recent Topic unit, our 1GOs have in pairs and with the help of the school tablets prepared a bunch of informative lapbooks about one of the four habitats we have learnt so many interesting facts about (i.e. rainforest, desert, ocean or the Arctic) and they have presented them to a group of Year 2 students. These Year 2 students have in the course of our 1GO Habitats Exhibition acted as their teachers and have provided our younger children with some enlightening feedback on how to speak more clearly, how to make a poster or lapbook look more ceative and how to take our team work skills to the next level. It was a brilliant exchange of expertise and knowledge! Is there a better teacher than a child?
