On Friday the 14th of February, Year 10 MeKo students, and Year 11 and 12 Informatik GK students were invited to attend an Artificial Intelligence workshop at the Technische Universitat in Berlin.

Students spent the day learning the mathematical workings behind AI and the potential impact that it may have on the world around us. During the course of the workshop, students developed a form of rudimentary image recognition that we see in much of the technology we use every day, creating their own AI programs that were able to identify and classify hand written numbers.
