As the final part of our MYP Grade 9 Science unit "Climate Change, Ecosystems and Human Impact", students completed a Service as Action project by creating environmental awareness campaigns for the school community.

After exploring how Earth’s systems interact and how human activities can disrupt their balance, students selected real-world environmental issues such as climate change, eutrophication, biodiversity loss, and sustainable food production. They designed campaigns to explain these issues and encourage responsible action.
Using posters, models, presentations, and surveys, students actively shared their messages across the school, including talks in homerooms and visual displays.

This project highlights how science learning can lead to meaningful action, empowering students to make a positive impact on their community.
