Book Week was a big success! 

We had lots of fun celebrating the joy of reading.  Among other activities during our English and Gemrna lessons, we had read-alouds in the library during playtimes.  We also did DEAR every day.  DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read.  " teachers went around and rang a bell at a random time in the day.  When we heard the bells we stopped what we were doing to pick up our book and read for fun! We also had a used book sale and a Read-a-thon to raise money for a local charity called Lillipad.  We raised over 2700€! Thank you to all who helped with this event, it was a big success!!
