Staff

The staff is made up of committed and qualified professionals from a variety of nations.

All class- and homeroom teachers have at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a home country teaching certificate. Training in the IBO´s Primary, Middle Years or Diploma Programme is preffered. Knowledge of German would be helpful, but not essential. Professional development is provided for all staff members. Class and homeroom teachers are native speakers of English and language teachers are native speakers of the language they teach. Teachers communicate regularly with parents to inform them of class activities and encourage communication between home and school in order to support student learning.

As the school grows, the roles and the responsibilities of the administration and support staff will vary and evolve and are therefore not described here.
