School Fees

Administration Fee EUR 365

The Administration Fee is required upon application and annual re-enrolment. Payment should be made when an Application for Admission or Re-enrolment Contract is submitted to the school.  Payment of this fee does not ensure acceptance or re-enrolment of the student by the school.

 

Entrance Fee          first year EUR 3,200

                              second year EUR 3,000

• The Entrance Fee is required for each new student enrolled.
• Payment is made in the first two years of enrolment, that is when the Enrolment Contract and, for the second instalment, when the first Re-enrolment Contract is submitted to the school. 
• The second instalment is required only for students re-enrolled for a second year. 
• For students returning to H.I.S. after an absence of one year or longer, prior Entrance Fee payments are credited to their school account.

 

Tuition Fees (August 2010 - June 2011)

Tuition Fees are charged per student, per academic year. Costs for field trips, after school activities or school lunches are not included. Payment of this fee is required on receipt of an invoice issued with an offer or enrolment or after re-enrolment.

Additional Information

• All fees must be paid in full, prior to the student’s attendance at H.I.S.
• Parents/Guardians are responsible for the payment of all school fees but may arrange to have payments made on their behalf.
• School fees can be refunded only in accordance with the H.I.S. "Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen" (General Terms and Conditions), available for review on the school website.
• Special payment terms must be agreed upon in writing with the school management.
• The school management retains the right to review the fees.
• The Statement of Fees is subject to the H.I.S. "Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen" (General Terms and Conditions).

EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT

Tuition Fee discounts can be granted according to the following schedule:

• 2.5% discount if fees received by March 31, 2010
• 2% discount if fees received by April 30, 2010
• 1% discount if fees received by May 31, 2010

The discount should be deducted from the amount paid, provided that receipt of payment is ensured by the payer according to the dates above. Please note that this discount applies only to Tuition Fees. The discount does not apply to the Administration or Enrolment Fees.

 

TUITION FEE REDUCTION  

To encourage social diversity within the school, a reduction of the Tuition Fees may be possible for families who are otherwise not able to afford the full school fees. For information or to apply for a reduction, please contact the H.I.S. Admissions Office.

An application requires the completion of the form Application for Tuition Fee Reduction, as well as evidence of the gross family income (typically, tax return documents). The application for a fee reduction must be completed annually at the time of re-enrolment.  All applications and related financial information are dealt with on a strictly confidential basis within the school management.   

Please note that fee reductions can be offered to a limited number of families only. H.I.S. must reserve the right to decline school fee reduction applications should the limit be exceeded.
