The school door opens at 8.15 am, and the day ends at 3.10 pm. There is a snack time in the morning with a break. The lunch break is 50 minutes long. The Early Primary students may have an additional break in the afternoon.

H.I.S. offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian lunches, as well as sandwich rolls and fruit, delivered by a local caterer. The costs are not included in the school fees. Alternatively, students may bring packed snack and lunches from home. Water is available for all students.

The school offers various opportunities for after school activities on Monday through Thursday after school from 3.20 to 4.20.

Activities that have been offered in the past and may be offered in the future include: Primary Sport, Art Crafts & Fun, Soft Stone Carving, German for parents, Football, Basketball, Pre-Sport, Crafts, Science Club, Maths Olympiades, Poetry Club, Drama and Volleyball.

Participation in some activities may be limited to students of a certain age or total group numbers. Additional fees are incurred for the ASAP.
