Employment at H.I.S.

The committed, qualified professionals at H.I.S. come from a variety of nations.

All class- and homeroom teachers have at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a home-country teaching certificate. Training in the IB Primary, Middle Years or Diploma Programme is preferred. Knowledge of German is an advantage but not essential. Professional development is provided for all staff members. Class- and homeroom teachers are native speakers of English, and language teachers are native speakers of the language they teach.

Teachers communicate regularly with parents to inform them of class activities and encourage communication between home and school in order to support student learning.
