H.I.S. is an IB World School authorized for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme.
H.I.S. is officially recognised by the German education authorities as a "staatlich anerkannte Ergänzungsschule". As we offer an international curriculum, as opposed to a German state curriculum, the "Ergänzungsschule" status is the only classification that is open to us.
H.I.S. is a member of the European Council of International Schools/Council of International Schools (www.ecis.org / www.cois.org) and the Association of German International Schools (www.agis-schools.org) and will seek accreditation by the ECIS/COIS.
